    Tokat

Tokat, which has been the scene of many historical periods since the time of Etiler, has been the junction of important roads that provide transportation between east-west and north-south. Thanks to its location, it is very rich in craftsman diversity. Some of them are yazmacılık (fabric decoration art), coppersmith, tinsmith, weaving (fabrics, rugs, cicim, carpets, socks), leather and earthenware jar manufacturing.

    Tokat Bracelet

Tokat bracelets are made by melting gold ingots and turning them into bars, and then processing the wires obtained by passing them through a cylinder. The gold wires passed through a tool called Rolling Mill are prepared by bending them in seven rows in a hand clamp. The bracelets made of twisted wires are clung to the brow part, which is made with the very laborious sand-casting technique.

    Tokat Yazması

Yazma is an art of fabric decoration made by using carved wooden molds with various dyes, usually on cotton and sometimes silk fabrics, by hand drawing or painting. Examples of this handicraft are mostly seen in head veils that women use to cover their heads. They are also used as a bundle, table cloth, quilt cover.

    Pervane Bath

Pervane Bath (Pervane Hamamı) has been in existence since 1275. The bath, which has four iwans and four halvet (private rooms) in the east-west direction, is adjacent to Taşhan in the north, and faces the street in other directions. It is in the group of double bathhouses consisting of a women’s section in the north and a men’s section in the south.
